Messiah

George Frideric Handel’s beloved telling of the life of Christ is an ideal Lenten contemplation and anticipatory celebration of Easter. This concert is presented by the adult, youth and children’s choirs of PCPC along with soloists and accompanied by a baroque orchestra of period instruments.

Admission is free. An offering will be taken to support future PCPC performing arts events. Childcare is offered by reservation only online for children birth to kindergarten.

Highland Park’s acclaimed performances of Handel’s Messiah have become a Christmas tradition that is not to be missed. Join us on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 pm as our professional choral ensemble performs the deeply loved oratorio focused on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, directed by Dr. Greg Hobbs.  Soloists include Randall Umstead, David Grogan, Bronwen Forbay, and Jennifer Lane.
